Wylie ISD Names New WHS Assistant Principal

Wylie ISD is pleased to announce Tarah Clark as a new assistant principal at Wylie High School.

Clark joins Wylie ISD from Plano ISD, where she began her educational career in 2008. She most recently served at Jasper High School, where she was an assistant principal for the past year. Prior to that assignment, she served as an assistant principal at Armstrong Middle School for four years. Clark has also taught math and coached soccer, track, volleyball and basketball in Plano ISD. Other leadership positions Clark has held include math department chairperson, team leads, student-teacher supervising teacher, mentor teacher as well as a seat on various improvement committees.

Clark is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She also holds a Master of Education in Education Leadership from Lamar University. In addition to her principal certification, Clark has certifications in physical education, math, and health. 

Clark and her family reside in Wylie.
