Wylie ISD Names Two New Secondary Assistant Principals

Wylie ISD is proud to announce two new secondary campus administrators:
- Ingrid Goslin, Wylie High School Assistant Principal
- Lauren Kessel, McMillan Junior High Assistant Principal

WHS Names New Assistant Principal
Ingrid Goslin will take over for Tony Gilliam, who is returning to the classroom.
Goslin joins Wylie ISD from Richardson North Junior High School in Richardson ISD, where she is an assistant principal. Prior to her campus administration role, Goslin was the team lead and department chair for English Language Arts at McMillen High School in Plano ISD for seven years. She was also an AVID and English IV teacher at Innovation High School in East Harlem, New York, and taught English and coached basketball and volleyball at Williams High School in Plano. The veteran educator began her career at Morehead Middle School in El Paso.
Goslin attended the University of Texas at El Paso, where she played Division I basketball and graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She also has her Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
Goslin resides in Wylie, and her son attends school in the district.
McMillan Junior High Names New Assistant Principal
Lauren Kessel will take over for Tausha Robinson, who recently accepted a principal position in the Panhandle area.
Kessel currently teaches seventh grade reading at McMillan. She has been a member of the Leadership Academy, the seventh grade Academic Team Facilitator, an #EdTechWylie Coach, and a mentor teacher.
Kessel began her educational journey in Wylie ISD at Draper Intermediate. She taught fifth and sixth grade English Language Arts, including all levels of reading and GT, from 2014-2022. She transitioned to the junior high level this past school year.
A University of North Texas graduate, Kessel received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and also earned a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce.
