Complaint & Grievance Process

Wylie ISD believes the best solutions often come from open, respectful conversations at the campus or department level. While we always encourage individuals to work together to resolve concerns informally, we also recognize that there are times when a formal review may be necessary.

In those cases, Wylie ISD provides a formal grievance process to ensure concerns are reviewed thoroughly, fairly, and in accordance with Board policies and applicable state and federal laws. Grievance forms may be submitted electronically or in person, in accordance with state law. Both online and printable versions are available below for your convenience.

For Student and Parent Complaints/Grievances

Parents and guardians should follow the official process outlined in Board Policy FNG(LOCAL). Please note: certain topics are addressed by specific policies or other documents that may modify or replace the standard complaint process. We encourage you to review the relevant policy before proceeding.
