Welcome to the Wylie Independent School District, a school system in southern Collin County, 24 miles northeast of metropolitan Dallas and its cultural, educational, and recreational amenities.

Covering 41 square miles, the district of more than 19,500 students serves the City of Wylie as well as families in the surrounding communities of Sachse, Murphy, Lucas, Lavon, and St. Paul. Wylie ISD has 21 campuses, including two 6A high schools, one alternative high school, three junior high schools (grades 7 and 8), three intermediate schools (grades 5 and 6), eleven elementary campuses (grades Pre-K through 4), and one pre-kindergarten center.
