Dr. Kim Spicer - Superintendent

As Superintendent of Wylie ISD, Dr. Kim Spicer provides leadership and direction for all district operations, ensuring every decision reflects Wylie ISD’s commitment to excellence, safety, and student success. She reports directly to the Board of Trustees and works closely with them and the Cabinet to guide the district’s strategic vision while fostering strong relationships with staff, families, and the community.

Dr. Jessica Branch – Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

Dr. Jessica Branch leads the Human Resources Department, ensuring that Wylie ISD attracts, supports, and retains exceptional educators and staff. She focuses on building a culture of trust and professionalism where employees feel valued, supported, and equipped to serve students with excellence.

Amanda Lannan – Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction

Amanda Lannan provides leadership for all aspects of teaching and learning in Wylie ISD. She ensures that students receive engaging, rigorous instruction aligned with district goals and state standards, while supporting educators through meaningful professional learning and curriculum development.

Scott Roderick, CPA – Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations

Scott Roderick oversees the financial and operational services that keep Wylie ISD running efficiently and responsibly. He ensures that taxpayer dollars are managed with integrity while supporting safe, well-maintained, and functional learning environments for all students.

April Cunningham – Chief Communications Officer

April Cunningham oversees district communications, ensuring families, staff, and the community are informed and connected to their schools and the district. She leads storytelling, branding, and media efforts that celebrate student and staff success and build trust through transparent, consistent communication.
