• In an effort to prevent bullying at Harrison Intermediate, we participate in multiple opportunities to educate students regarding bullying.

What is bullying?  WISD policy defines bullying as "written or verbal expression or physical conduct that (1) has the effect of physically harming a student, damaging a student's property, or placing a student in reasonable fear of harm to the student's person or of damage to the student's property; or (2) is sufficiently severe, persistent, or pervasive enough that the action or threat creates an intimidating, threatening, or abusive educational environment for a student".

Students, parents, and visitors are strongly encouraged to report suspected incidents of bullying.  The school office has standard forms available to all students and parents to report incidents of bullying.  In all reports of bullying, an appropriate investigation will be conducted based on the information received in the report.  Forms may be emailed to Joel May (5th grade) or Allison Alexander (6th grade) at Joel.May@wylieisd.net or Allison.Alexander@wylieisd.net or returned to the school office.  You can also click here to report bullying electronically.
