This is my 10^th year in education and my 1^st year working here at Davis Intermediate School. I’ve worked in Plano ISD for a year and half prior to recently joining the Wylie ISD family. During my professional career I’ve worked in school districts in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Maryland and Texas as a Special Education Teacher for 2 years and a School Counselor for 8 years. I truly enjoy being a Counselor! I get to assist and support students in their academic, personal, and social and emotional learning and development through guidance lessons, individual counseling and small group support. I also get to collaborate with my administrative team, teachers and parents in helping to prepare our students in becoming our future leaders of tomorrow. It is my absolute privilege to be able to help serve my school and community. I’ve been married to my wonderful and supportive husband Shaun for 16 years.  We have one son named Landon that is in 1^ST grade at Bush Elementary School in Wylie ISD, our adorable fur baby named Marissa and we are so thrilled to be expecting our second child in July. We are a PROUD retired military family that has relocated to the city of St. Paul in the summer of 2017.  I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping and exercising!
