Hello!

My name is Mrs. Botens or Mrs. B, whichever you prefer. 

I am a special education resource and inclusion teacher at Wylie East High school in the subject of Algebra I.  I have worked in the educational field for many years and became a certified teacher 6 years ago.  I have taught pre k through 5th grade and am excited to work with high school freshmen this year. 

I have a passion for helping students that have difficulty understanding and applying unstruction that is taught in the traditional way.  I enjoy having fun while I am working with and helping students to unlock their potential even if they find it difficult to understand and master skills.
