Hello Third Graders! My name is Jamie Mitchell. I grew up in Oklahoma and attended Abilene Christian University. After graduating, I got married and started my teaching career. I was a classroom teacher in Frisco for 13 years and a preschool teacher for 2 years. I have taught Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade over the years. After last year, I can add Paraprofessional to my list of wonderful experiences! My daughter, Anna, will be in 4th grade at Tibbals. My son, Rhett, will be in 8th grade at Cooper. My family likes fishing, hunting, exploring, and just being in nature. In my free time, I enjoy hanging by the pool, watching survival shows, cooking, and supporting my kids with all of their activities. We love WISD, and I am so happy to be right here at Tibbals! We are going to have a great year!
