Hi Current and Future Birmingham Bears!  

I am so excited to start my 25th year in education and my 8th year here as a Birmingham Bear!! I love this school and community and consider myself lucky to be a part of this family.

I am originally from the Beaumont, TX area.  I attended Lamar University (Go Cardinals!) for my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies.  As a classroom teacher, I taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades in Hardin-Jefferson ISD, Mesquite ISD, and Wylie ISD.  After earning my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Amberton University in 2004, I worked as an Elementary Counselor in Plano ISD for 11 years,  I was so excited to finally get back to Wylie ISD in 2015.

My husband Brian, who has made me an honorary Texas Tech fan (Wreck 'em!), and I have lived in the Sachse/Wylie area for the last 17 years and we love this community!   We have two children, Paige and Braden, who both attend Wylie schools. We love spending time together as a family by attending one of our children’s many activities, church, going to the movies, and traveling.
