Welcome to SECOND GRADE!
My name is Shawnta White. I have been very blessed to work at Tibbals since the doors first opened. I am a graduate of Henderson State University in Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. My family and I are from Arkansas. We moved to Wylie back in 2001. We are still true Razorback fans though! I have three beautiful daughters. My oldest Whitney is 20 and in her third year at Texas State University. Aubrey is 17 and a senior at Wylie High, and Ella is 11 and in 6th grade at Draper Intermediate. This will be my 21st year of teaching. I started off in 7th and 8th grade for a year and then moved to 4th grade for about 4 years. I have taught 1st grade at Tibbals for 13 years and my second year in 2nd grade! I was voted "Teacher of the Year" in 2009-2010 at Tibbals. Being a part of Tibbals is a true blessing.
