Mr. Basil Bouras

Hi Raider Nation! 

My name is Mr. Bouras and I love being a Wylie East Raider! 

I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2016 with a Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance. I also received my Bachelors in Clarinet Performance and my Bachelors in Music Education from the University of North Texas in 2014. 

I began my teaching career in 2016 as an Assistant Band Director at North Mesquite High School in Mesquite ISD. While at North Mesquite, I developed a love for photography and graphic design. I took those skills to enhance my work and the student experience in our band program and eventually decided to switch to the CTE world. 

This will be my second year at Wylie East HS, and I will be teaching courses in Digital Audio Technology, Digital Media, Social Media Marketing, and Advertising.
