The main goal of the Wylie Independent School District Community Relations Department is to develop and maintain external relationships with the surrounding community and organizations, further enhancing trust and transparency with those the school district serves.
The department is responsible for planning and hosting District special events, serving as the District liaison to the Wylie ISD Education Foundation, Inc., Chambers of Commerce and other business partners and agencies. They also coordinate the district’s community leadership program, CLAAS, and the senior citizen gold card program. They also assist in the coordination of the Montgomery and Williams centers.
The award-winning department is focused on maintaining ongoing, open, and effective relationships and communication with our stakeholders (staff, students, parents, and community members) in meaningful and engaging ways.
