I am so excited to be teaching music this year at Dodd! 

I have full certification in the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education. I am a 2018 graduate of Texas A&M University - Commerce where I studied Music Education with an emphasis in Elementary Music, and I play the flute! This year is my 6th year teaching elementary music, and my 4th  year at Dodd. In 2018, I student taught in Wylie ISD in grades K-6, and then I worked for two years in Athens ISD teaching Pre-K - 5th grade music. I am also currently a graduate student at SMU studying to earn my Masters degree in Music Education!

I live here in Wylie with my husband, Scott, and our two sweet cats!  

In music class we will sing, dance, move, and play instruments and games! Each grade level will also perform one performance each year. I cannot wait to get started and make music with all of our Dodd Dinos!
