I am the advisor for three student organizations on campus:

Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE pronounced "taffy") - TAFE is open to all students who are interested in learning more about the Education Career Field.  Members will have the opportunity to participate in local, state and national events.  Our members participate in community service, and also work with students throughout the district.  Wylie High School TAFE is affiliated with Educators Rising, a national organization for students who are interested in a career in Education.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) - FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private school through grade 12. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

Friends of Rachel (FOR) - FOR empowers students and school staff members to create and adopt a school environment marked by kindness and compassion. Our club's objective is to ensure that our school climate continues to thrive as one of respect and care so that each student and school staff member feels comfortable working and learning here at Wylie High School. Our efforts are only possible if students and school staff members work together, and so we encourage everyone interested to join the Friends of Rachel Club.
