The 2022-2023 school year will be my 9th year in Wylie (6 previously at Burnett Jr. High), and my third year as the principal of Cooper Junior High. I began my career as a History and Government teacher in 2000 in Garland before coming to WISD in 2010. I have served as a boy’s athletic coordinator, assistant principal at the middle school level and as an assistant principal at Lone Star High School. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I served in the United States Marine Corps right out of high school and started coaching as a volunteer and a private school. I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master in Education from Texas A&M- Commerce. My wife and I have two children, Presley and Jaxon. I am looking forward to continuing the high standards and traditions that is Cooper Jr. High. #coopersetsthestandard
