Mr. Kyle Bobbitt

My name is Kyle Bobbitt and I will be starting my 15th year in education; however, this is my second year at Wylie ISD.  I am teaching PE at Whitt Elementary and coaching high school girls’ basketball and track & field at Wylie High School.  As a teacher, it is my hope to offer a quality physical education program that provides students the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be a physically educated individual.  Students will participate in activities that develop behaviors to encourage making healthy choices, using appropriate social skills, and to develop lifelong physical fitness habits in a fun, safe environment.  As a coach, I am extremely grateful for my upbringing, the people that have crossed my path, and those individuals who were role models to me because those experiences and people have carved me into the human being and coach that I am today.  I am able to share these life’s lessons with all the athletes that come through our program to prepare them for the game of life.  I am really excited and blessed to have the opportunity to work with your child and join the awesome Whitt Wolves and Wylie Pirates team.

I am a proud graduate of Troup High School ('99) and Northwestern State University for my Bachelors ('04) and Masters degree ('07).  My teaching and coaching actully began in college at NSU as a student assistant for the men's basketball program then as a graduate assistant coach for the women's program.  After deciding to join the secondary school ranks, my career has taken me from Louisiana, Illinois, East Texas to here at Wylie ISD.

I am married to my wonderful wife, Tracy, and we have three daughters:  Leslie (4th grader at Whitt), Londyn (Kinder at Whitt), and Linnea (4 years old). We proudly live in Wylie.  We are a family that enjoys adventures and being on the go!
