Covid-19 Information
-
Wylie ISD closely monitors the health and well-being of our students and staff as the health and safety of students and staff is one of the district's top priorities.
Wylie ISD will continue to work with students and staff to promote good health and hygiene habits to help reduce the transmission of illness in schools. The district will also continue to clean touched surfaces and perform extra sanitizing measures in classrooms and areas where a person who is ill or has tested positive with COVID has been.
- If your child receives a positive COVID test, they are required to stay at home until 5 days have passed since symptoms began or from the test date if asymptomatic. Report a positive COVID-19 case here.
-
Parents should keep their children home if they have signs and symptoms of illness, such as a fever greater than 100°F. They may return to school if they are fever-free or without signs of a fever for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
For additional questions or concerns, please contact your campus nurse.
