Wylie ISD to Host 2025-26 Kindergarten Roundup on April 10

Wylie ISD invites families to its annual Kindergarten Roundup on Thursday, April 10, from 4–6 p.m. at each elementary campus. This event offers parents the opportunity to enroll their children for the 2025–26 school year and learn about the exciting start to their child’s educational journey in Wylie ISD. Not sure which campus your child will attend? Please view our 2025-26 zoning map and locate your child's campus using your home address. 

To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025.

Important Campus Updates

• Hartman Elementary will no longer serve grades K–4 starting in the 2025–26 school year. All students currently zoned for Hartman will attend Akin Elementary. Kindergarten Roundup for these students will be held at Akin Elementary.
• Kindergarten Roundup for the new Kreymer Elementary will also be held at Akin Elementary on April 10.

Kindergarten Roundup Process

Before attending Kindergarten Roundup, parents must complete the online enrollment process:

• Visit the online enrollment webpage.
• Upload the following documents:
  • Birth certificate
  • Social security card
  • Proof of residency (most current utility bill — gas, water, or electric — or closing documents/lease agreement with a utility bill to be sent within 30 days)
  • Parent’s driver's license
  • Immunization records

At the event, parents must bring an original birth certificate or call to schedule a time to bring the document to the school.
