Two Wylie ISD Students Selected for the TAEA Youth Art Month Exhibition

Wylie ISD is proud to announce that Rocky Simmons, a senior at Wylie High School, and William Childers, an 8th-grader at Burnett Junior High School, have had their artwork chosen for the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Youth Art Month Exhibition. Their exceptional pieces will represent Wylie ISD at the Texas State Capitol throughout the month of March.

The TAEA Youth Art Month Exhibition highlights some of the best student artwork from across Texas, with only 100 pieces selected statewide. The recognition is a testament to both students' talent, creativity, and dedication to the arts.

Simmons and Childers will be recognized at a special reception in March.
