Wylie ISD Ranks Among the Best School Districts in Texas and the Nation in 2026 Niche.com Report

Wylie ISD has once again been recognized as one of the top school districts in Texas and the United States, according to the recently released 2026 Niche.com rankings. Each year, Niche reviews more than 10,000 K-12 districts using academic performance data, college readiness indicators, teacher quality, student experience, and community reviews. This year’s results show Wylie ISD continues to perform at the highest levels.

These rankings reflect the district’s continued focus on excellent instruction, strong relationships, and meaningful opportunities in academics, career pathways, athletics, and fine arts. They highlight the everyday work happening in classrooms and on campuses, reinforcing why families, staff, and community members take pride in Wylie ISD.

• #9 of 876 – Best School Districts in Texas (Top 2 percent and up 5 spots from 2025)

• #124 of 887 – Districts with the Best Teachers in Texas (up 27 spots from 2025)
