Wylie ISD Names Inaugural Hampton Intermediate Assistant Principal

Wylie ISD is proud to announce that Priscilla Patterson-Justiniano has been selected as the first-ever assistant principal of Hampton Intermediate, which will open its doors in August 2026.

Patterson-Justiniano, who currently serves as a third-grade teacher at Bush Elementary, brings a strong background in instructional leadership and intermediate-level experience to her new role. She has spent her entire public education career in Wylie ISD, beginning in 2018 as a teacher at Draper Intermediate, where she was named the 2021-22 Teacher of the Year, then went on to become the Wylie ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year. Prior to that, Patterson-Justiniano served as an AlphaBEST Site Director at Smith Elementary and Draper Intermediate for six years.

A dedicated member of the Wylie ISD community, Patterson-Justiniano has contributed to districtwide efforts through her service on the Wylie Way Writing Committee and the District Educational Improvement Council. She has also facilitated professional learning, mentored teachers, and served on multiple campus leadership teams focused on student success and continuous improvement.

Patterson-Justiniano holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies in Human Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. She is certified as a Principal as Instructional Leader and holds multiple teaching certifications, including Core Subjects EC-6, Core Subjects 4-8, and ESL Supplemental EC-8.

Patterson-Justiniano and her husband, Daniel, live in Wylie.

Construction of Hampton Intermediate is progressing on schedule, and the district looks forward to welcoming students to this new school in the 2026-27 school year under the leadership of Principal Dale Ramirez and Assistant Principal Priscilla Patterson-Justiniano.
