Wylie ISD Education Foundation Names Kim Crumrine Executive Director

The Wylie ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Kim Crumrine, CEFL, as its next Executive Director. Crumrine succeeds Windi Fuller, who has served as the Foundation's executive director since 2022 and has chosen to return to the classroom.

Wylie ISD is also pleased to welcome Crumrine and looks forward to partnering with her as the Foundation continues its mission of supporting innovative learning opportunities and enhancing educational experiences for Wylie ISD students and staff.

Crumrine brings more than a decade of experience in education foundation leadership to Wylie ISD. Since 2018, she has served as Executive Director of the Royse City ISD Education Foundation, where she provided strategic leadership for fundraising, community partnerships, governance, financial stewardship, and programs supporting students and educators. Prior to becoming executive director, she served five years on the RCISD Foundation's Board of Directors, including terms on the Executive Committee and as Board President.

Throughout her tenure in Royse City, Crumrine led initiatives that expanded the Foundation's impact through classroom grants, student scholarships, literacy programs, employee giving campaigns, and community partnerships. Under her leadership, she strengthened board governance, expanded donor engagement, diversified fundraising efforts, and launched innovative programs benefiting students and teachers.

A respected leader in education foundation work, Crumrine is a Certified Education Foundation Leader (CEFL) through the National Association of Education Foundations and is pursuing the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. She has completed nonprofit management coursework through Collin College and is an active member of the Texas Education Foundation Network, the National Association of Education Foundations, and other professional organizations. She is also a frequent conference presenter on topics including board development, fundraising strategy, branding, and community engagement.

The Wylie ISD Education Foundation Board and Wylie ISD look forward to the leadership, experience, and vision Crumrine will bring as the Foundation continues to strengthen partnerships, support educators, and create opportunities that enrich the educational experience for Wylie ISD students and staff.
