Wylie ISD Earns Statewide Recognition with 11 Schools Named to 2024 ERP Honor Roll
- News
Wylie ISD proudly announces that 11 of our campuses have earned a place on the 2024 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll. This recognition highlights schools that are not only achieving high levels of academic success but are also making meaningful progress in closing achievement gaps.
This year, only 762 campuses across Texas were recognized, making the honor a significant achievement. The ERP Honor Roll celebrates schools that consistently demonstrate strong student outcomes and a dedication to providing all students with the support they need to succeed. Wylie ISD is proud to be recognized among this select group of high-performing schools.

To earn a place on the Honor Roll, schools and districts must consistently outperform peers on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) over a three-year period. Recognition is given to those who demonstrate excellence across all student groups in Reading, Language Arts and Math, with special attention to equity. This data-driven approach ensures that honorees like Wylie ISD are not only achieving outstanding results but doing so in a way that lifts all learners. Earning a spot on this list places Wylie ISD among the top-performing districts in the state. This is achieved by only 9% of eligible Texas districts in 2024.
“This recognition is a testament to the incredible work of our educators, staff, and families who remain deeply committed to every student’s success,” Superintendent Dr. David Vinson said. “In Wylie ISD, we believe that excellence is built on strong relationships and a focus on student growth. Being named to the ERP Honor Roll affirms our efforts are making a difference and setting a standard. It’s an honor that reflects the heart, passion, and purpose found in every Wylie classroom, every single day.”
About Honor Roll
The Honor Roll, presented by ERP as part of the national Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), is a prestigious recognition program that highlights high-performing schools and districts across the country. Unlike many awards, the Honor Roll is based solely on objective student achievement data and is backed by leaders in the business community. It aims to recognize schools and districts that are effectively preparing students with essential skills for success in college, careers and life in a global workforce, particularly by closing achievement gaps and improving outcomes for historically underserved student populations.
