Wylie ISD is excited to announce BriAnn Crockett as the new Head Cheer Coach for Wylie High School.

Crockett brings strong experience in both education and cheer leadership. She began her career in Dallas ISD as a seventh-grade science teacher and cheer coach after earning her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce in 2018.

She joined Wylie ISD in 2022 as a science teacher and cheer sponsor at Cooper Junior High, where she quickly became a campus leader. In 2023, she became the science team leader, taking on additional responsibilities within the department.

A graduate of Wylie East High School, Crockett is rooted in the Wylie community. The district looks forward to seeing the positive impact she will make on the Wylie Pirates Cheer program.
