Wylie High Promotes Hardage to Lead Pacesetters

Wylie ISD is proud to announce Abby Hardage as the new Director of the Pirate Pacesetters at Wylie High School. A graduate of Wylie ISD, Hardage brings both personal connection and professional experience to the role as she steps into this leadership position.

She currently serves as the team’s Assistant Director and dance teacher at Wylie High. Hardage began her career in Wylie ISD in January 2023 as a PE aide at Harrison Intermediate. That spring, she stepped in as the interim Assistant Director for the Wylie East Sapphires. In the 2023-24 school year, she joined the Wylie High campus as a special education aide and drill team aide, before transitioning into her current roles as a dance teacher and assistant director.

Hardage earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Texas Tech University. A resident of Wylie, Hardage is honored to lead the Pacesetters and is excited to continue building on the team’s strong tradition of excellence.
