Wylie East Taps Hallam to Lead Volleyball Program

Wylie ISD is excited to announce Tasha Hallam as the new Head Volleyball Coach at Wylie East High School. Coach Hallam brings more than a decade of experience teaching and coaching across North Texas.

She currently serves as the head volleyball coach and English teacher at Lake Highlands High School in Richardson ISD, a role she has held since 2023. Her coaching journey includes varsity assistant positions at Lovejoy, Rockwall-Heath, and Royse City high schools, as well as leading the Naaman Forest volleyball program from 2015 to 2019. Hallam began her career in education at Poteet High School in Mesquite ISD, where she taught English and coached junior varsity volleyball.

A proud Wylie resident, Hallam lives in the community with her family, and her child attends school in the district. Wylie ISD looks forward to the future of the Wylie East volleyball program under her leadership.
