Wylie ISD is proud to recognize eight Wylie East High School choir students who have been named 2026 Texas Music Scholars by the Texas Music Educators Association.
This prestigious designation honors students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, musicianship, and citizenship. “We are so proud of our students, not only in the choir room, but for their academic excellence in all of their classes,” said Dr. Nathan Dame, Director of Choirs at Wylie East High School. “These individuals provide an outstanding leadership core in our program, and their designation as Texas Music Scholar is so very deserving.”
