Reynolds Set to Lead Wylie High’s Cross Country Program
Colton Reynolds, WHS Cross Country Head Coach

Wylie ISD is excited to announce Colton Reynolds as the new Head Cross Country Coach at Wylie High School. With more than a decade of experience in education and athletics, Reynolds brings an impressive record of success in building competitive programs and developing student-athletes across multiple sports.

Reynolds most recently served at Royse City High School as a science teacher and assistant coach for boys basketball and track. His leadership experience includes serving as Athletic Director at Miller Grove High School and Girls Coordinator at North Hopkins High School. He began his public education career at Commerce High School, where he taught science and coached multiple sports. Reynolds’ coaching résumé includes head coaching experience in cross country, track and field, basketball, and tennis.

Over the course of his career, Reynolds has led teams to numerous cross country district titles and several appearances at the regional and state levels.

Reynolds holds a Master of Science in Health, Kinesiology, and Sports Studies with a concentration in Athletic Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Texas A&M University–Commerce. He has also completed coursework for principal certification through Texas A&M University–Commerce.

Wylie ISD looks forward to the continued growth of the Pirate cross country program under his leadership.
