In our first installment of The Heart of the School, meet Tarrance Rose & Pamela Howard!

Tarrance and Pamela are dedicated cooks at Burnett Junior High School and Achieve Academy. Tarrance has been a part of Wylie ISD for four years and Pam for 13, both making a difference every day behind the scenes.

When asked what they enjoy most about the job, Tarrance said, “One of my favorite moments was being recognized by a student for our customer service. She said, ‘we are so nice to kids!’”

Pam said that she loves how the staff treats them like they are one of them. “They give us T-shirts and include us on everything.” Both said they love being a part of the Burnett and Achieve families.

We are grateful for Tarrance and Pam’s hard work, dedication, and heart for our students. Thank you for everything you do to keep our schools running and our students supported! We love our support staff!
