Fields Tapped to Lead Davis Intermediate

Wylie ISD is excited to welcome T.J. Fields as the new principal of Davis Intermediate School. Fields takes over for Cody Summers, following Summers' decision to step down for personal reasons.

Fields began his career at Wylie ISD in 2015, teaching social studies at Cooper Junior High and Wylie High School. His dedication to student success and leadership led to his appointment as an assistant principal at WHS in 2022. A former Wylie ISD Campus Teacher of the Year, Fields is well-respected for his commitment to education and his ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Fields holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration in Secondary Education. He later earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University and holds a principal’s certification.

Fields and his family call Wylie home, and he is eager to continue serving the district in this new leadership role.
