Assistant Principal Named for Parker Junior High Opening in 2026

Wylie ISD is proud to announce that Crystal Paul has been selected as the first-ever assistant principal of Parker Junior High, which will open its doors in August 2026.
Paul, who currently serves as an assistant principal at J.W. Williams Middle School in Rockwall ISD, brings more than 14 years of experience in public education to her new role. She began her career in Tyler ISD as a sixth-grade math teacher before serving as a master teacher and later an assistant principal. During her time in Tyler ISD, she supported professional learning communities, coordinated academic interventions, and helped lead campus improvement initiatives. She later joined Rockwall ISD as the Campus 504 and Testing Coordinator at Rockwall-Heath High School before being promoted to assistant principal at Williams.
Throughout her career, Paul has worked closely with teachers and campus leaders to implement systems that support student achievement and positive school culture.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler. She holds certifications in EC-12 Principal, EC-6 Generalist, and 4-8 Mathematics/Science.
Paul and her family live in Wylie. Her husband, Khellan, also serves as an assistant principal in Wylie ISD.
Construction of Parker Junior High continues to move forward as planned, and the district is excited to welcome students to the new campus in the 2026-27 school year under the leadership of Principal Dr. Andie Doty and Assistant Principal Crystal Paul.
