Experience:

I am a Certified Culinarian and Certified Fundamentals Cook with the ACF (American Culinary Federation) and have been teaching Culinary Arts in WISD since 2015-2016 school year. I started up the program at WEHS 2015-2016, teaching Principles of Hospitality & Tourism, Lifetime Nutrition & Wellness, and Introduction to Culinary Arts.  I am currently a Chef Instructor at WHS teaching Principles of Hospitality & Tourism, Introduction to Culinary Arts, and Practicum of Culinary Arts I & II.  I am a sponsor for the Skills USA and coach for the FCCLA Culinary Arts and Restaurant Services competitors. I am so happy to be teaching the students in my community as I believe everybody should learn to cook. 

When I am not teaching culinary classes, I can be found volunteering as the Culinary Stage Manager at North Texas Irish Festival, baking bread, and catering small parties. I do love food, but I love my husband, sons, and our dogs even more.
