About Me:

I began my career in the field of education in 2005. I have been a CTE teacher at Wylie High School since 2015. I decided to pursue a career in education because it provides opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of others. My favorite thing about being an educator is connecting with students in a way that helps them reach their full potential. 

I am the WHS TAFE sponsor and the WHS Ready Set Teach Program Director. 

Outside of school, my hobbies include reading, crafting, enjoying music and movies, travel, and spending time with my wonderful family.

Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies - Texas A&M University Commerce                              

 Certifications:  School Counselor, FEMA Crisis Counselor, EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Generalist, English Language Arts and Reading 8-12, Family and Consumer Sciences 6-12
