Hello Kindergarten Families!  I am so excited to be a part of your child's learning experience this year! There is nothing better than watching a child grow into their abilities, develop new friendships, and challenge themselves to be positive and productive classroom citizens.

Originally from California, I have lived in Texas since 2006.  I attended Texas A&M University at Galveston before moving to Wylie to finish my degree at the University of North Texas.  This will be my 8th year in Kindergarten at Smith and I am starting my 10th year of teaching. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Kris, since 2010. We have three daughters, Madison, Reese, and Molly. We love to spend our weekends camping in our travel trailer, fishing, hunting, and boating. My eldest daughter, Madison, is a competitive dancer, so if we are not going outdoors, we are cheering her on at a competition! I also spend some free time crafting, making glitter tumblers, t-shirts, and pens, and playing with my girls!

This is going to be such a wonderful year and I can't wait to get started!
