This will be my 14^th year of teaching art. I LOVE being a Marauder!  I am so blessed to get to do what I love.  I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Science, with a major in Interior Design, from the University of Central Arkansas.  Before becoming an art teacher, I did professional Interior Design for almost 17 years. I then followed my heart and went back to school, at Dallas Christian College, where I received my Teacher’s Certification.

This year the Marauder Art Studio (M.A.S.) is going to be amazing!  I believe wholeheartedly that art education enhances our ability to fully experience art and beauty while deepening our understanding of culture and history. One of my goals this year is to increase student motivation, awareness, and understanding of the arts, while implementing lessons involving social studies, science, math, language arts, and multiculturalism, with the full understanding that “Art Is All Around Us!"
