Information is still be organized as it was before, just some of the menus have been moved to simplify your experience as you move from your desktop, to your tablet and to your cell phone.
The main navigation (Our District, Parents and Students, Community, etc.) has moved into the hamburger menu in the upper left corner. And the global icons for the calendar, directory, lunch menus and Peachjar have moved to below the large image and video gallery. Contact information and upcoming events are showcased just below the image gallery and all of your district and campus news will be just a little further down the page, in a more mobile first site design.
If you are still having trouble locating something, you can always use the search feature in the upper right hand corner of any page.
Your username and password for our website are the same as what you use for the Wylie ISD mobile app. This includes the shared username with Skyward (in other words, your username for Skyward, the mobile app and the website are the same). However since the website is powered by a seperate system, Blackboard, there is no way to securely sync passwords.
If you do not know your password for the app/website, you can use your Skyward username in this form to have the system reset your password. The system will send you a temporary passwrrod via email to the address we have on file. Once you are logged in, we encourage you to change your password. We also generally recommend matching your password to your Skyward password so that you are using one set of credentials to access student data.
First, make sure your CAPS LOCK is not on and that you are typing your password in the correct case. Your user name is not case sensitive, however your password is. If you are sure you are typing the correct password, and the system will not allow you to log in, you can email the District webmaster at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your password will be reset and a temporary password will be emailed to you. For security reasons, only the email address on your account will be used to send passwords. Once received, you would then log in and change the temporary password to a password of your choice.
