Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Smith Elementary! This is my 6th year in Wylie ISD and 21st year to teach. Throughout the years I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade dual language. My certification is PK-6 and I have had my English as a Second Language certification since 2006.
Mr. Matula and I have been married for 27 years and we have 2 wonderful children! Luke graduated from Wylie High School this past Spring and will be attending college in the Fall. My daughter Faith will be in the 8th grade at McMillan. M family and I love being outdoors and attending sporting events! :)
