Welcome to our Watkins family! I am so excited about working with you and your child this year!

        Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in San Diego, California and moved to Belton, Texas in 2006, where I attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. GO CRU! I married my husband, David, in 2010 and currently live in Fate. We have two sons, Hudson and Cohen. Hudson will be 8 in October and is in 2nd grade here at Watkins and Cohen is 3. They consume most of my free time, but when I get a "mommy day", I love getting pedicures and going to Target, Home Goods, & TJ Maxx! 

        This is my 13th year teaching at Watkins. I taught 3rd grade for five years and this will be my eighth year in Kindergarten and it is definitely my happy place! I absolutely love teaching and I am passionate about instilling a love for learning in my students and a desire for them to become life-long learners. I promise to make sure that your child has a wonderful kindergarten experience. I am dedicated to making this a successful year for all of us.
