I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University where I received my B.S. in Elementary Education. I earned my Masters in Education from DBU in Mid-Management. My teaching career began in Duncanville and Arlington Texas.  After staying home with my children for several years, I began teaching pre-kindergarten at Wylie United Methodist Church. I am currently entering my tenth year with Wylie ISD and sixteenth year in teaching.    

My husband is Brandon and we have three children. My daughter is a sophmore at OU.  One of of my children attends the high school, Colin is in twelth grade at Wylie High.  Wade will be a eighth grader at Cooper. Also, we have a sweet ten year old lab named Ranger. and a five year old Great pyrenees named Snowflake.  

I feel very fortunate to be able to touch the lives of young children. It is rewarding to see the students’ excitement, eagerness and enthusiasm for learning. Their smiles, sweet words and hugs brighten each day. I love getting to know the children as well as their families. I feel very blessed to be a part of the Dodd community!
