I am excited you are here to journey through a wonderful year of growth and celebrations! I believe in the power of relationships and that through relationships you can Inspire, Connect, and Educate every child. All children deserve to receive excellent instruction resulting in personal progress and success. Our Smith Family strives to embrace each child to grow their mind. Teachers at Smith are one of a kind and it is a blessing to be part of such a supportive campus with a loving family atmosphere.
This will be my third year to serve as the Assistant Principal at Smith. I have been in the Wylie School District for five years. I began my career in Temple ISD before the Army moved my family to Northern Virginia where I worked in Prince William County. We spent nine years as a military family before moving to Wylie.
I grew up in Garland, graduating from South Garland High School. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University. Gig’em Ags!! While at A&M, I met my husband of 13 years, Eric. We have two children: Erika, age 10, and Landon, age 5. We enjoy spending time together as a family and all things sports.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year and motivating our staff and students to be the best Bulldogs we can be!
