I am originally from Michigan.  I attended Eastern Michigan University and finished my degree at Texas A&M Commerce.  I have been married for 26 years and have 2 children.  I am starting my 13th year at Hartman Elementary.  I am proud to be Teacher of the Year for the 2016-17 school year.  I love teaching students to become life long learners.
