Mr. Chris Bezner

I have been teaching & coaching since 2002 and have been at Wylie High School since 2007.  I am the Head Coach for Girls Soccer and Physical Education Department Head. I am passionate about teaching Outdoor Adventures & Physical Education. In Outdoor Adventures, I teach students the value and importance of outdoor safety, responsibility, and conservation as it pertains to hunting, fishing, archery, camping, hiking, and other fun outdoor activities.  Being passionate about the outdoors and wildlife, this class is fun to teach and share how important it is to do our part to preserve this for future generations.  I am a Texas Parks and Wildlife volunteer instructor and students can receive hunter education and boater education certifications in my class.  I have always enjoyed being outdoors.  I enjoy coaching, watching & playing soccer as well as a variety of other sports, hunting, archery, fishing, camping, outdoor cooking, and spending time with family and friends.  I lean on my faith and can sit in awe of God's wonderful creation every time I go outside.  I grew up in rural Gainesville, TX in Cooke county and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1996.  I attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX and graduated in 2001. I have been blessed with an amazing wife and 3 beautiful girls!
