I am thrilled to be in my third year of education here at Draper. I began my career in education when I was 10 years old and got my first younger sibling, they need to be taught everything! I began teaching economics in college and I chose a career in education because I believe that knowledge is the greatest gift you can give another person. The more you know the greater your chances of finding joy for yourself.

I like video games, reading, Dungeons & Dragons, riding my motorcycle and swimming. I’ve had my dog, Wes, for 6 years now and we love going on walks every morning and every night. 

I graduated magna cum laude in economics and political science from the University of Arkansas in 2019. After working as a waiter, political campaign organizer and substitute teacher, I decided to join Teach for America in 2020. I received my Master of Elementary Education degree from the University of Missouri- St. Louis in 2022 and am certified to teach pre-k through 6th grade.
