Mrs. Zaira Gomez

I am excited for this school year and proud to be a Hartman Cool Cat! This year will be my 16th year in education. I have previously taught Kindergarten, Pre-K, and K-5 ELAR Special Education Resource. I have a passion for working with young learners. I strive to nurture their growth in all areas of development and learning in a fun and positive environment.

My husband and I reside in Rowlett. We have three wonderful children. Our oldest son is currently in the Army, our other son is a college student, and our daughter is a senior in Garland ISD. We also have two wild fur babies, a german shepherd mix and a blue heeler. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, do projects, shop, and spend time with my family.

Paraprofessionals:

Alysha Wolfe

My name is Alysha Wolfe and this will be my second year as an ECLC para. Last year was such an amazing experience for me after being a SAHM for 4 years, that I made the decision to continue on with the ECLC unit. In that year, I found my true calling, to work with all of your amazing children and help provide them with the opportunity to grow in an environment that fits their needs. Within the next year, I will be continuing my education to obtain my Special Education certification. I CANNOT WAIT!

My family and I have been local residents of Wylie for the last 5 years. I am married to a wonderful man of 10 years, Wayne (a Wisconsin native), and have 4 absolutely amazing children. Coy, 14, is starting his freshman year and  plays the trombone in the marching band. Marshall, 10, will be in 5th grade and has a love of all things sports, espcially baseball. Haylyn, 8, and the long girl of the bunch, is in 3rd grade and has recently started learning the ins and outs of WWE style wrestling. And last, but definitely not least, Ryker, 5, is now in kindergarten. He, like his sister, knows how to throw down in a wrestling ring. The love of wrestling comes from our family's involvement in a ministry called CWF-Christrian Wrestling Federation. We are also very involved in our church and enjoy serving others as a family and individually.

As for our furry and feathered family, we have 2 dogs and 14 chickens. Fluke is a 1 year old golden retriever and Sully is a 12 year old miniature dachshund. Our chickens are all named but I'll some ink on that one!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve and help the children grow here at Hartman this year. And I look forward to learning more about each of them as amazing individuals!
