This is my second year teaching at Cooper Junior High. I teach 7th Grade Reading, and I love every second!

I was born and raised in West Texas, and moved to the Dallas area shortly after graduating college from Texas A&M University *GIG 'EM!!!*. I graduated with a BA in Telecommunications and a minor in Business. Teaching is my second career and my true calling. Reading and writing has always been a passion and major part of my life, so I'm excited to help my students increase their love for reading and writing as well (even if it's starting from zero!).

In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, eating really good food, baking, and playing with my cat, Wilson. 

I love being here at Cooper Junior High and being a part of the Wylie Way!
