I am so excited about starting another year at McMillan Junior High School.  I have taught 6 years previously with Garland ISD and 2 years in Wylie ISD.  While I was with Garland ISD, I taught 8th grade math and I was the math department chair for the school.  During the 2020-2021 school year, I was named Teacher of the Year.  I currently serve as the curriculum leader for 8th grade math at McMillan.

I graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Criminal Justice.  While attending TCU, I was the captain of the TCU Rugby Football team, GO FROGS!  I am currently working to complete my Masters in Educational Leadership with Texas Tech University.  I have been married for 5 years and we have a daughter who is 3 years old.  Outside of school, I enjoy competing in long distance running, cycling, and triathlon events.  I also enjoy grilling, and I spend most Sunday's by the grill.  I am a HUGE Dallas Cowboys/Dallas Stars/FC Dallas fan and I try my best to never miss a game!
