-- Writing teacher at Burnett since October 2020

My husband and I are both from Michigan.  We moved to Texas in January 2005 when he took a job transfer.

We have two cats, four nieces, six nephews, and one great-nephew.  The cats are here with us, obviously.  The nieces and nephews are in Michigan, Georgia, and Virginia.  We are currently renovating a family cottage on the shore of Lake Huron.  We enjoy traveling, visiting lighthouses and National Parks, and taking Disney Cruises.  

I started as a substitute teacher in 2008 and eventually earned my teacher certification.  I came to Burnett in October, 2020 for a six-week assignment that was extended until the end of the school year.  I was hired permanently the following August.  I am happy to be a Buccaneer.
