I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree from Oklahoma State University (GO POKES!) in Journalism with a focus on print media and public relations. The 2022-23 school year will be my fourteenth year teaching, my third in Wylie. My career began in Oklahoma. I have taught in two districts here in Texas and also in Colorado. 

At Wylie High, I teach English IV as well as several journalism courses including advising The Legend (WHS' Yearbook) and the soon-to-be-released newspaper reboot, The Compass.
