I grew up in Rolla, Missouri (GO CARDS!) the oldest of four kids. My parents live on a beautiful piece of land in the country, and I always enjoy going home to spend time with family and old friends. I attended school at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where I attained my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. From there I spent one year teaching third grade in Arkansas before I moved to the DFW area. I then spent two years in RISD teaching first grade, before finally finding a home at Groves Elementary. I am so proud to be a Groves Gator and look forward to being here for a long time. My family, puppy Stitch, faith, and the outdoors are all very important to me. I look forward to growing as an educator and becoming a part of the Wylie Community over the next few years.
